Harvesting for Christmas wreaths and garlands

Harvesting for Christmas wreaths and garlands

What have we got to cut for foraged Christmas wreaths? Come along as I tour the flower farm checking on stock and looking for good ideas for a big wholesale order I am sorting out.

This flower farmer's year is counting back from Christmas now, even though it's only 25th October. There's a lot to do: clearing, planting, mulching as well as harvesting for wholesale and lots of online and in person wreath workshops and demos so time management is crucial, especially as the kids are off school this week and if I'm not careful I'll be too wrapped up in work and won't see much of them.

With lots of ideas of what to cut to foraged goodies for an entirely eco Christmas decorations season come along and be inspired to have a look at what you have growing in your own garden - you might find you have plenty to make with as well as maybe more to sell.
