Flower Farming For Beginners Workshop

On this potentially life changing workshop Georgie will show you how you can grow flowers for profit from a space as small as your average allotment to larger areas, how to lay out your space, decide about and use poly tunnels, make raised beds, create windbreaks, and work your earth to your flowers’ best advantage.

Spend a fascinating, life-changing, day with eco flower farmer Georgie Newbery in which you will have a full introduction to artisan flower farming. With a tour of her seven acre plot Georgie will show you how you can grow flowers for profit from a space as small as your average allotment to larger areas, how to lay out your space, decide about and use poly tunnels, make raised beds, create windbreaks, and work your earth to your flowers’ best advantage.

The day includes a great deal of information about setting up and running a small business, how to use social media to advertise your wares, how to choose what to grow, how to grow it, cut it, condition it, and then sell it. There is no other day which gives such a wealth of information available at the moment in the UK. The British flowers movement is taking off: spend the day learning with Georgie at Common Farm in Somerset and you too can be part of it.

The workshop runs from 10am – 4pm on various dates throughout the year and takes place at Common Farm Flowers, Charlton Musgrove, Somerset.

Cost includes lunch and refreshments.
