Join Georgie Newbery as she helps you list what to consider when deciding wholesale prices for your flowers.
With the season coming towards us at a gallop let’s think about where the value is, and how you can put a price on time plus ground plus bloom plus conditioning. What will you charge per stem? Will you deliver? How will you educate your customers to get the very best out of your flowers?
As the cut flower market becomes more attuned to the value to the environment of locally grown flowers, join this workshop so that you can be fully prepared for taking advantage of a world which has made it difficult and expensive to buy imported blooms, a world in which at last the perfectly presented locally grown flower is most desired. The price you charge will be reflected in the quality and presentation of what you offer and in the support you give to your customer in how to look after your product.
This workshop will help you consider all of the above in order to make sure you have a successful season selling your wonderful locally grown flowers.
Participants will have plenty of time to ask questions at the end.
There will be a maximum of 15 students taking part in this online workshop. The session will last around two hours. Afterwards participants will be sent a link to the recording of the workshop, as well as Georgie's notes of the session.
When booking a workshop place, our website will force you to choose a delivery date. Please choose any random date - we will know what workshop you want to join regardless of the delivery date!
Also note that we will be in touch a few days before the workshop with your joining instructions. If you’ve not received this email 48 hours beforehand please email@example.com do please first check your junk / spam items and make sure you are checking the inbox of the email address you used to book your place.
We will send recordings (and notes if applicable) of workshops within 7 days of the session taking place, but usually much sooner than this.
Most of our flowers and foliage are grown on our flower farm in Somerset. During some of the winter months we order flowers from our flower farming friends in other parts of the country. We only ever use British grown flowers. Our flowers are cut from the farm fresh each morning, before being arranged and sent for next day delivery.
Because our flowers are picked fresh each day, each of our bouquets is totally unique. Although we can't guarantee a particular flower or colour scheme in your bouquet please let us know if you have any particular requests and we will do our best to meet them. We promise that your bouquet will be fresh and beautiful.
