The 19th April demo has now taken place but the recording of the session is available to buy as a download until 3rd May 2023. Simply place your order as if you were booking a place on the workshop (use any delivery date when prompted in the check out process) and, as soon as we are able, we will send you the recording.

Georgie Newbery has built a business entirely using social media.

She’s only paid for advertising when it’s supportive of a local enterprise, or because it’s good manners.  Otherwise her ‘comms and pr department,’ is her, posting most days on her social media platforms.

Georgie will take you through what the different platforms do for her, and how to interact and engage with other users in a way which will improve your profile, engage with the press, and bring you sales.

Georgie will tell you specifically what social media can do for small businesses, and specifically how to gain traction.

This is not a whimsical, floaty session with lots of lovely photographs: this is a proper how-to for people who know they should be making more of their social media, but feel bamboozled, overwhelmed, or just plain gobsmacked by all the noise they see other people making without really getting how that noise can make sales.

If you are thinking of joining this workshop you might also be interested in some of our other workshops, including Living The Dream.

This workshop will take place on zoom in a small group (maximum of 15 participants) and will last approximately two hours, including plenty of time for questions and answers. Following the session, participants will be sent workshop notes and a recording of the workshop.

Please note:

When booking a workshop place, our website will force you to choose a delivery date. Please choose any random date - we will know what workshop you want to join regardless of the delivery date!

Also note that we will be in touch a few days before the workshop with your joining instructions. If you’ve not received this email 48 hours beforehand please email nicola@commonfarmflowers.com but do please first check your junk / spam items and make sure you are checking the inbox of the email address you used to book your place.

We will send recordings (and notes if applicable) of workshops within 7 days of the session taking place, but usually much sooner than this.

What can you expect when you order our flowers?

Most of our flowers and foliage are grown on our flower farm in Somerset. During some of the winter months we order flowers from our flower farming friends in other parts of the country. We only ever use British grown flowers. Our flowers are cut from the farm fresh each morning, before being arranged and sent for next day delivery.

Because our flowers are picked fresh each day, each of our bouquets is totally unique. Although we can't guarantee a particular flower or colour scheme in your bouquet please let us know if you have any particular requests and we will do our best to meet them. We promise that your bouquet will be fresh and beautiful.
