Join Georgie Newbery on this workshop, which will feature demos on how to propagate, grow, and look after dahlia plants to ensure you have a breathtaking display of fantastic blooms from July through till the first frosts.

Georgie will discuss which varieties she loves to plant, diseases to look out for, how to feed and water your dahlia for best results and how to handle pests.

Participants will have plenty of time to ask questions at the end.

There will be a maximum of 15 students taking part in this online workshop. The session will last around two hours. Afterwards participants will be sent a link to the recording of the workshop and notes on the varieties of dahlias used and the techniques and tools recommended.

Please note:

When booking a workshop place, our website will force you to choose a delivery date. Please choose any random date - we will know what workshop you want to join regardless of the delivery date!

Also note that we will be in touch a few days before the workshop with your joining instructions. If you’ve not received this email 48 hours beforehand please email nicola@commonfarmflowers.com but do please first check your junk / spam items and make sure you are checking the inbox of the email address you used to book your place.

We will send recordings (and notes if applicable) of workshops within 7 days of the session taking place, but usually much sooner than this.

What can you expect when you order our flowers?

Most of our flowers and foliage are grown on our flower farm in Somerset. During some of the winter months we order flowers from our flower farming friends in other parts of the country. We only ever use British grown flowers. Our flowers are cut from the farm fresh each morning, before being arranged and sent for next day delivery.

Because our flowers are picked fresh each day, each of our bouquets is totally unique. Although we can't guarantee a particular flower or colour scheme in your bouquet please let us know if you have any particular requests and we will do our best to meet them. We promise that your bouquet will be fresh and beautiful.
