Mothering Sunday flowers
Mothering Sunday is the feast of Mother church when traditionally servants were allowed home to celebrate Easter a few weeks early, because at Easter itself the servants would be working. On the way people would pick posies of flowers from the hedgerow to give their mothers when they arrived home for lunch after church. And so began the tradition of giving mother's day flowers. These days people often live far away from their mums, and it's illegal to pick wildflowers from the hedgerow, so we're here to help. Send real English country flowers, all grown in the UK for mother's day: we'll include a gorgeous mix of scented narcissi, iris, ranunculus, anemones, pussy willow and other seasonal goodies to make your Mothering Sunday flowers really special.
