Product Details

Just in time for sowing an early crop for 2021 flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery will sow some of her first crop for next year with you.

Georgie will give a tour through this year’s varieties, and what made their flowering so successful, a list of the varieties she wouldn’t be without, the best way to prepare the ground, and why to leave the roots in the ground when the sweet peas are finished.  How many to sow, how often to sow, how many flowers per plant you can expect, how to achieve long stems, and how long can you expect the plants to go on flowering?

Georgie was inspired to start growing flowers commercially by her abundant sweet pea crop, and has been growing them for sale for ten years.  She will share all her top tips on this cheerful and inspiring session.

The online session lasts an hour and a half with plenty of time for questions.

The cost is £95 per person, with a maximum of fifteen students. There will be a link to the recording of the session sent to students afterwards, as well as notes with the top tips and varieties mentioned throughout.

What can you expect when you order our flowers?

Most of our flowers and foliage are grown on our flower farm in Somerset. During some of the winter months we order flowers from our flower farming friends in other parts of the country. We only ever use British grown flowers. Our flowers are cut from the farm fresh each morning, before being arranged and sent for next day delivery.

Because our flowers are picked fresh each day, each of our bouquets is totally unique. Although we can't guarantee a particular flower or colour scheme in your bouquet please let us know if you have any particular requests and we will do our best to meet them. We promise that your bouquet will be fresh and beautiful.
