Common Good Plant Sales

Where are plant sales taking place?

Thank you for such a wonderful response to the idea of holding 'Common Good' plant sales and thank you for embracing the idea. Here's a list of where we know plant sales are going to be taking place. If you'd like us to add your plant sale to this list, please email club@commonfarmflowers.com with date, venue, timing and, if you’d like to share it, who you are raising money for.

Batcombe, Somerset
Sunday 5th May in the village hall
Raising money for the annual show and also to give horticulatral themed grants (previous recipients have been bulbs to plant around the parish, memorial garden shrubs and donations to Sustainable Witham Friary. 

Bonne, on the Charente / Dordogne border in South West France
Sunday 5th May bring and buy plant sale as part of the village Brocante. 
Raising money for Federation Francaise Jardin, Nature et Santé, which brings designers, medical and horticultural practitioners together to create landscape/gardening projects in health and community settings. 

Bridgnorth, Shropshire
Saturday 11th May at the Town Hall, Market Place
Raising money for The Albrighton Trust (provides education and recreation, including horticulture, for people with disabilities)

Cavendish, Suffolk
Saturday 11th May 10am - 12pm at the Memorial Hall, Cavendish
Raising money for Cavendish Horticultural Society, a charity which holds an annual horticultural show on 10th August. 

Charlton Musgrove, Somerset
Saturday 11th May 9.30am to 12.30pm at the Village Hall, BA8 8HF
Raising money for  The Growing Space, The Treatment Bag and the village church and village hall.

Dartmoor, Devon
Sunday 26th May and Monday 27th May, 2.00pm - 4.00pm both days at Manaton Parish Hall,  TQ13 9UJ
Raising money for Widecombe-in-the-Moor & Moretonhampstead Primary Schools Plant Growing Initiatives and the village church and parish hall.

Frome, Somerset 
Saturday 11th May time 12pm - 2pm at Cuckoo Hill, BA11 2NT
Raising money for People For Packsaddle, a community group fighting to save a local green space which is rich in biodiversity but is under threat of being built on. 

Redditch, Worcestershire
Saturday 11th May 10am to 1pm at St Andrews Methodist Church, Churchill B98 9LE
Raising money for The Old Needle Works Foundation, a hub of wellbeing, who will put money towards a men's support group and their new community garden.
