You can now join us at Common Farm Flowers and enjoy one of our Garden Tours. Common Farm is the opposite of a show garden; it's a working acreage, designed to service our floristry business with about 250,000 stems per year. Come and see how we do it!
Ordinarily, Common Farm Flowers offers evening Garden Tours through the months of June and July each year. The tours are open to various groups, including (but not exclusively) horticultural societies, floristry groups, W.I. and so on. These Garden Tours lasts for two hours and include a chance to be shown around the flower farm, with the opportunity for questions along the way. The visit would normally conclude (pre-coronavirus) with tea, coffee and cake and the chance for more chat about Common Farm Flowers, our philosophy and how we run a successful flower farm here in Somerset. Cost for groups is £10 per head, with a minimum booking of 20 people. Given the current (October 2020) coronavirus pandemic, we will review what we are able to do for Garden Tours in 2021 in a few months time.
We also offer mixed group Garden Tours. Our next visits will take place in June 2021. Places are extremely limited as we are lowering the number of people who can attend, due to coronavirus. You can book a Garden Tour here.
