We've combined two of our popular flower growing workshops, to offer you the opportunity to book them both at a reduced cost. 

This is an ideal combination of sessions for people wanting to learn more about growing these two very popular flowers, ensuring you have a wonderful crop of first roses, then dahlias, whether you are growing for profit or pleasure - from early in the season through to the very first frosts.  

The workshops included in this package and dates are as follows. Please click the workshop name for full details of each workshop. 

The Dahlia Workshop - Thursday 21st March 5pm (GMT) 

This workshop has now taken place but the recording of the session is available so if you book this duo of workshops we will send you the recording of this session as soon as we are able to. 

In this workshop Georgie describes the five steps she takes each year to ensure her dahlias give her exactly the wow factor she needs as a flower farmer, from high summer to the first frosts.  A keen rationaliser of works, Georgie’s system will not take too much of your time but will give you flowers the envy of your neighbours.

The Rose Workshop - Tuesday 25th June 5pm (BST)

Join Georgie for a session where she goes through everything you need to know about growing roses for cutting: from curating your choices, to ordering, to bed preparation and planting: from feeding and watering, to managing build-up of pests and disease: and from cutting to conditioning to creating with these most classic of garden cut flowers. 

 

Information about all our online workshops and demos:

All our online workshops and demos take place via Zoom at 5.00pm (UK time.) 

Workshops last approximately two hours and demos are around an hour.  

We will be in touch a few days before the workshop with your joining instructions. If you’ve not received this email 48 hours beforehand please email nicola@commonfarmflowers.com but do please first check your junk / spam items and make sure you are checking the inbox of the email address you used to book your place.

We will send recordings (and notes if applicable) of workshops within 7 days of the session taking place, but usually much sooner than this.

You are very welcome to buy a place on our workshops or demos even if you can't attend live.
