Our live club chats for the Autumn term

Our live club chats for the Autumn term

We’re excited to share the plan for our live club chats, which start again on 3rd September and run through to the Christmas break!

Usually we promise our paid subscribers (clubbers) 10 live sessions a term, so 30 a year. But for the Autumn term we’ve 12 sessions scheduled, including 3 brilliant and very varied guests.

Our club live chats are for paid subscribers here on Substack and take place once a week, mostly on a Thursday at 5pm UK time, during school term time.

If you’d like to join the club here’s how - simply sign up as a paid subscriber here on Substack and you are in. You can choose to pay monthly or annually.

If you’re interested in any of our previous paywalled posts, whether it’s our live chats or written content, these are all archived so new clubbers can enjoy those too.

You can choose to pay monthly or annually (current price £10 a month or £75 a year.)

This year paid subscribers will have had access to 32 live chats - £2.34 per session feels like good value to us and hopefully to our clubbers too (and doesn’t include all the other benefits to being a paid subscriber!)

We start club live chats again at 5pm on Thursday 3rd September and here’s the plan for the term.

  • 3rd September - Welcome back - new term - general Q&A

  • 10th September - It’s book launch day so let’s celebrate together and it’s also your chance to ask Georgie questions regarding the new book

  • 17th September - Meet the team - we did this some time ago and thought worth doing again, for new members and old. Find out more about us, backgrounds, how we work together, our different skills but also, perhaps, how we are sometimes very similar!

  • 24th September - We’ll be joined by Jen of Bristol Flower Company, who has recently launched the Flower Tracker Pro App and will be able to tell us all about it

  • 1st October - Wedding flower planning for 2027, including pricing - something we’ve been asked to cover

  • 8th October - No session this week as Georgie will have just finished teaching the 3 day Flower Farming Intensive workshop (still a few places available if anyone interested)

  • 15th October - another topic we’ve been asked to cover, planning for extreme weather - water management, drought planning, what plants grew well in hot a hot UK summer, what can we learn from our friends in hot climates

  • 22nd October - No session this week, half term break

  • 5th November - we’ll be joined by another guest this week, photographer of gardens, people and food, Jason Ingram

  • 12th November - Wreath demo and chat about planning for the festive season as a flower farmer or florist

  • 19th November - No session this week as Georgie will have just finished hosting the 3 day Lifestyle Business Retreat. Still chance to book on this fabulous 3 days if you’re considering it!

  • 26th November - marketing your small business tbc

  • 3rd December - Successes and challenges in 2026 and looking ahead to 2027

  • 10th December - we’ll be joined by our final guest for 2026, Jane Lindsey of Snapdragon Life

  • 17th December - Festive end of term and general Q&A
