Autumn workshops
With our first workshop of the new term taking place next week, today feels like a good opportunity to share details of all the workshops we have coming up this term.
We’ve an interesting variety for you - most are online, one is a 3 day workshop at the farm, some are aimed specifically at flower farmers but others are suitable for those of us who grow flowers for pleasure.

The Flower Farmer’s Year Workshop
Join Georgie for this 2 hour session and she’ll share with you the dates you need to put in your diary for a successful season growing flowers year on year.

The Design A Cut Flower Patch Workshop
On this workshop, Georgie will talk you through the many detailed points to consider when creating or re-designing your cut flower patch, whether you are growing in your garden or at a more commercial scale.
“I was interested (in this workshop) because I want to grow flowers for pleasure. Georgie diagrammed how to set up a flower garden, what to grow and provided numerous personal tips. She is so personable and relatable. I plan to implement Georgie's recommendations on a smaller scale. I really appreciate receiving a recording of the workshop and notes.”

Join Georgie for this online session and she will help you think about all you need to consider when deciding wholesale prices for your flowers and foliage, so you can look forward to season after season successfully selling your crop.

The Career Change Flower Farming Workshop

The Flower Farming Intensive Workshop
This is a 3 day intensive workshop at the farm in Somerset, which aims to help you grow your flower farming business. This workshop is suitable for people who’ve some experience of growing flowers for sale, but who want to refine their processes, strategise to optimise their time and their crop growing, make more of their land, and make sure they are taking advantage of many different possibilities for earning which flower farming offers.
