Coming up this week....

We have three online demos taking place this week, all on very different topics and all will be inspiring, useful and great fun.
As ever, our online demos take place at 5pm and last around an hour. We always record the sessions and send them out to everyone who booked a place afterwards - so if you can’t join live (or you’re interrupted during the session) you don’t miss out.
Here’s what’s coming up.
Tuesday 10th June The Rose Demo
Would you like the full download from Georgie on how she grows a beautiful crop of roses every year, whatever the weather and despite the attempts by aphids to scupper her efforts? If so, do consider joining this demo.
Georgie will take you through the collection of roses she grows at Common Farm Flowers, and tells you why she has chosen this mix, how she prunes them, feeds them, harvests and arranges with them, with a demo arrangement of roses picked fresh from the farm on the day.
Wednesday 11th June The Summer Party Tablescaping Demo
This is a brand new demo for 2025! There’s more to consider than you might think when laying a table and this demo will ensure that your wedding or event, or summer supper table, looks stunning as well as works on a practical level. You want the wow-factor flowers but you also need room for all the necessities - Georgie will show you how it’s done!
Friday 13th June The Sowing Biennials Demo
Yes, it’s time to start sowing biennials to ensure you have a crop of flowers early next spring! Georgie has lots of tips and tricks to make sure seed germinates in the heat of the summer, and seedlings flourish for planting out in late summer or autumn. Join this session and your garden next spring will be the envy of your neighbours!
Finally, there is still time to book onto the Eco Floristry Retreat here at the farm in Somerset next week. You can choose to do 1, 2 or all 3 days of the retreat, depending on what you’d like to learn or practice. Whichever day you choose, you’ll be out cutting out on the flower patch here during the morning and after a fabulous farm shop lunch we spend the afternoon creating beautiful arrangements with the fresh flowers. All the details of the 3 days here (but you can click through to each individual day from this link too.)
