Our online demos and workshops at the farm are almost at an end for this summer term. After the sowing biennials demo this evening and the eco floristry retreat next week, we take a break until our sessions begin again in September.

Many of the online demos that have already taken place this year won’t be repeated now until spring / summer 2026 and we know that many of you don’t want to wait that long. So over the next few weeks, we’ll be in touch to let you know about recordings of demos you can buy for a limited time.

We sadly don't have space in our schedule to repeat any of these demos again in 2025 but now that our cut flower patches are (hopefully) flourishing it's the perfect time to remind ourselves of the importance of cutting and conditioning our flowers in such a way as to give them the best chance of lasting as long as possible in the vase.

And our hand tie demo is always popular for those wanting more detail on creating an arrangement with the magic twist, as well as a good mix of floral types (this demo was recorded in the Spring but the principles of the mix of flowers and foliage still applies in the Summer months.)

Both of these demos use entirely plastic free mechanics and the living spring wreath was arranged in a very similar way to the living wreath that was created as one of the tributes for the Chelsea display.
