Georgie held her first online demo of 2026 this week (Growing Willow For Floristry, available for a limited time as a recording here if you missed out) and it will soon be time for her first online workshop of 2026 too.

All our online workshops take place on Zoom and sessions are always recorded, so if you can’t attend live or you’re interrupted during the session you can download the recording and catch up in your own time and as often as you want or need to.

Our paid subscribers receive 10% discount on all workshop and demo bookings, even on the sessions which are already part of a discounted bundle (see below.) (You can become a paid subscriber from just £6.25 a month (if you pay annually) or £10 a month if you prefer to pay monthly.)

Here are the online workshops that take place between now and Easter.

Tuesday 3rd February The Introduction To Flower Farming Workshop

This is a fantastic online workshop (also available in person at the farm here) for anyone considering growing flowers for sale or in the early stage of their flower farming career. Join Georgie for this all day session (split into 3 parts) and she will help you turn your dream into a reality.

I've just attended the Common Farm Flowers 1 day introduction to flower farming workshop. I can't recommend this highly enough whatever stage of the journey you are at. This will save you huge amounts of time, money and angst and is well worth the incredibly modest fee. Georgie is engaging, interesting, candid and generous with her advice.Thank you Georgie, you have been an absolute Godsend, now I'm off to write my business plan!!

Tuesday 10th February The Pricing Cut Flowers To Sell Workshop

Are you struggling to decide what to charge for your flower and foliage stems? Do you feel you perhaps should have been charging more in 2025 but can’t quite bring yourself to do it? During this online workshop, Georgie will help you consider EVERYTHING that grows into growing your flowers and will help you therefore consider the true value that they hold for your business. Consider this workshop a really useful investment - you will leave it feeling more confident about what you should be charging and it should soon pay for itself!

“This was such a great course. I was expecting general help with pricing but this was so much more detailed than that, giving concrete pricing that I can put straight into practice. It also, unexpectedly, really helped me clarify my strategy and what I should and shouldn’t be growing to sell.”

Tuesday 24th February The Design A Cut Flower Patch Workshop

Whether you grow for profit or pleasure, this online workshop will help you think about the many different considerations when planning a new cut flower patch, or if you are thinking about making improvements to an existing patch.

“This is the second course I’ve done with Georgie and loved it as much as the first. One day I would love to have a big patch of flowers but for now I’ll adapt what I’ve learnt into my garden. Now to research all the flowers mentioned.”

Monday 2nd March The Flower Farmer’s Year Workshop

Georgie puts all her growing dates firmly in the diary, and so long as she sticks to them, she will always have flowers. Without the diary she'd never get crops in the ground on time and would find herself always running late. Join her for this online workshop and you will leave with a very organised plan for the year ahead, which will ensure you have cut flowers all season long.

“The Flower Farmer’s Year online workshop gave me a clear way forward to planning my growing year. Georgie has a wealth of knowledge which she generously shares. The course is filled with great advice from planning to propagating and growing. Just I what I needed to help me plan better to ensure I have flowers through to October. Highly recommended!”

Did you hear the exciting news?

Georgie has a brand new book coming out. The Flower Farmer’s Year: Growing Flowers for Pleasure and Profit (previously published in 2014) has been completely re-written and will be published during Chelsea Week in May 2026.

You can pre-order a copy from the publishers here or do please order via your local independent book store, if you have one (ISBN 9781399418744). Obviously, it’s also available from a major online retailer too.

You can read more about the re-write of the book and how and why it differs from the original version here.
