Club live sessions in June

Our club live sessions are weekly (term time) hour long sessions for paid subscribers here on Substack.

Taking place each Thursday at 5pm, we focus on different topics each week. Some are question and answer sessions, some weeks we enjoy the company of special guests and we try and ensure we do a live demo each term too.

If you’re not yet a paid subscriber, you can join us here and for £75 a year (or £10 a month) you can enjoy up to 30 live chats a year, receive discount on website orders, access our full club archive, and enjoy other club benefits.

Here’s what we have planned for June

Thursday 4th June

A very special guest this afternoon, as Jo Thompson, garden designer, RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winner and author.

Thursday 11th June

Our rearranged session with Francesca McGarey, who we’ve enjoyed an excellent chat with previously. The topic this week will be our digital footprint and what this means for our small businesses, as well as us as individuals.

Thursday 18th June

A great topic, requested by one of our paid subscribers this week - a Q&A session on perennials that really earn their keep.

Thursday 25th June

Our last live chat before the summer break, so we are going to make this one an ‘end of term report’. Let’s talk about how our year is going, whether we grow for pleasure or profit. What has worked well? What has challenged us? Are we achieving the objectives we set for ourselves this year? What are we already thinking we will do different next year?

Previous summer term sessions

If you are new to the club (or considering joining) then you always get access to our full archive of previous ‘paid’ sessions, including all our club chats. Here are the topics we’ve already covered this summer term:

28th May Q&A session on the topic of growing fillers and annuals

21st May Q&A about the last couple of weeks at RHS Chelsea

7th May Creating a sustainable funeral wreath - live demo

30th April General Q&A session

23rd April Guest session with Sarah Gray of Bloom and Gray, chatting about soil blocking
