Thursday 11th June - Club Live Chat: Digital Footprint for Small Businesses

What does your digital footprint mean for your small business? Join Georgie Newbery and marketing consultant Francesca McGarey for a live online conversation exploring how your digital presence, both as a small business and an individual. Francesca has spoken at the Flowers from the Farm conference and co-leads the Common Farm Flowers Lifestyle Business Retreat. This is a focused, practical session for small business owners who want to understand and manage their online presence.

Friday 12th June - Sowing Biennials Online Demo

How do you sow biennials in summer for spring flowers? In this online demo, Georgie Newbery shows you how to sow biennial flower seeds in summer for a strong display of flowers the following spring and early summer. Georgie shares tips on getting seeds to germinate in the heat, keeping seedlings healthy, and timing planting out for late summer or autumn. Biennials sown in summer give you a head start on the next growing season.

Thursday 18th June - Club Live Chat: Perennials That Earn Their Keep

Which perennials are worth growing for cut flowers? This Q&A was requested by one of our clubbers on Substack, and is a session that will focus on the perennials that consistently deliver in the cutting garden, the plants that give you the most flowers for the least effort, year after year.

How do you grow, harvest and arrange with garden roses? Georgie Newbery walks you through the rose collection at Common Farm Flowers and discusses why she chose each variety, how she prunes and feeds them, and how to harvest and arrange with your own homegrown roses. An online demo for gardeners and flower farmers at any level.

Wednesday 24th June - The Seed Saving Demo

How do you save flower seeds at home? In this online session, Georgie shows you how to identify the right moment to collect seeds, how to dry, clean and store them to keep them viable, and how to organise your seed stash for sowing next season. Seed saving is one of the most effective ways to fill your garden for free, year after year.

Thursday 25th June - Club Live Chat: Mid-Year Review

The final Club Live Chat before the summer break, a chance for the Common Farm Flowers community to come together and reflect on the growing season so far and how your year is going. Let's call it an 'end of term report'!
