The Introduction To Flower Farming Workshop online
If you’ve ever dreamed of making a living growing cut flowers for sale, this full-day online workshop is the place to start turning that dream into a realistic, workable plan.
In this workshop Georgie shares everything she has learned about growing flowers strategically and profitably: which flowers to grow, how to plan a full season of stock, how to manage your cashflow (the most important foundation of any flower farming business), and how to build a marketing strategy that works. She is honest about the financial realities, practical about the time involved, and genuinely inspiring about what is possible when you grow something you love with real intention.
Lots more detail about what will be covered on the day over on the website.
Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th November
The Lifestyle Business Retreat at the farm
The 3 day retreat in November is for business owners, or would-be business founders, who want to step away from the more-for-the-sake-of-more business model and create something with purpose that aligns with their values, and makes enough of a living to work for them.
Over three days at Common Farm Flowers in Somerset, we’ll explore being clear on your objectives and defining what ‘enough’ looks like for you, we’ll help you build the habits and mindset to keep your progress steady and sustainable and we will considerthe identity and voice that markets your business.
Running a business should be about more than just keeping up. It should support a full life, which as well as your business includes family, friends, learning and space for growth. This 3 days aims to help you achieve this.
Along with Georgie, the retreat is also led by experts in their fields, Alice Armstrong Scales and Francesca McGarey.
There’s lots more detail on the website if you’re tempted to book one of the few remaining spots.
