Bring your calendar to this online workshop and let flower farmer Georgie tell you the dates you need to put in your diary for a successful season growing flowers year on year.
Georgie puts all her growing dates firmly in the diary, and so long as she sticks to them, she will always have flowers. Without the diary she’d never get crops in the ground on time, and would find herself always running late.
Anybody who’s been on one of her flower growing workshops will tell you that the diary is almost her most important tool. Bring your year planner and let Georgie help you fill it in: from a shrub watering schedule, to when to split your dahlias and then when to plant them out, from when to order bulbs, to when to have them delivered, to when to prep beds so that any plants ready to go in the ground can be planted, Georgie has the schedule minutely organised – don’t worry, you will still have time to go to the pub! And you will have a fabulous season full of flowers too.
The online session costs £75 per person, which includes a link to a recording of the workshop and useful notes. The session is around two hours long, including time for questions, and there are just 15 places available.
When booking a workshop place, our website will force you to choose a delivery date. Please choose any random date - we will know what workshop you want to join regardless of the delivery date!
Also note that we will be in touch a few days before the workshop with your joining instructions. If you’ve not received this email 48 hours beforehand please email firstname.lastname@example.org but do please first check your junk / spam items and make sure you are checking the inbox of the email address you used to book your place.
We will send recordings (and notes if applicable) of workshops within 7 days of the session taking place, but usually much sooner than this.
Most of our flowers and foliage are grown on our flower farm in Somerset. During some of the winter months we order flowers from our flower farming friends in other parts of the country. We only ever use British grown flowers. Our flowers are cut from the farm fresh each morning, before being arranged and sent for next day delivery.
Because our flowers are picked fresh each day, each of our bouquets is totally unique. Although we can't guarantee a particular flower or colour scheme in your bouquet please let us know if you have any particular requests and we will do our best to meet them. We promise that your bouquet will be fresh and beautiful.
